Using Jetpack to reply to comments on the mobile end can be awkward, especially when praising other commenters. The Jetpack backend doesn't show who the comment is directed at, so I end up being modest about it. Then I check on the computer and thankfully I was modest; it had nothing to do with me, but I forced myself into it.
Then I tried to install the WordPress mobile app, but the installation prompted that there wasn't enough space. I looked and saw 126/128, with only 2GB left.
I uninstalled some rarely used apps and freed up about 5GB. When I logged into the WordPress app, I saw that the comments section was still the same as Jetpack. I deleted Jetpack, but didn't remove the WP Jetpack plugin; at least it will still send alerts.
I started backing up photos and videos, deleting around 2GB, and generally cleaning up.
WeChat was about 14.8GB, so I first backed up all chats to the computer, then started using WeChat's built-in delete feature to remove chat records that took up space, especially those from group chats. I deleted some ad contacts, and finally, it took up about 8.4GB, which is about right for now.
Douyin took up 2.9GB for tasks, so I deleted it and reinstalled. After reinstalling, it still took up 1.7GB, which is quite large. I optimized the daily sign-in tasks to see if they were useful; if not, I would delete them.
Xiaohongshu took up 2.7GB, and after deleting and reinstalling, it was still around 1.5GB.
Alipay was around 2.5GB (now 1.1GB), WeChat Reading was 2.1GB (now 1.07GB), Taote was about 1GB, and there were also Pinduoduo, Meituan, Xianyu, and Bilibili. In the Lu Fund, there’s a fund with a 45% profit that I’ve held for a long time. The principal is just too small. The total withdrawal is over 90 yuan. Haha. I plan to gradually consolidate some fund apps into at most two platforms. There are too many now, taking up phone resources.
I also managed to upgrade the Pengpai system to the latest version, with a compressed package of over 400MB.
After a flurry of operations, I found that space increased by 25GB.
I will continue to persist. In a few years, I will buy a phone with at least 256GB.
