Living Material Maintenance

Bought an LED#

Yesterday was Double Eleven.
Didn’t buy anything, just a feeling.
I found that the restaurant's light was previously a Midea 15W 5700K color temperature.
In winter, when turned on, the brightness is quite dim. After a while, it gradually brightens.
Checked the shopping records, it’s been about 5 years. It's nearing the end of its lifespan. Maybe the capacitor has reached its lifespan.
I’ll change it another day and take a look at the capacitor.

As 11.11 is passing by, I still want to buy an LED.
Midea's price is not low. I bought it for 18 yuan before, 15W.
Now it’s 14 yuan. Color temperature 5700K.
Many are around 10 yuan, but the color temperature is 6500K.
Too glaring? The restaurant is also used for studying.
Then I checked the relationship between color temperature and studying.
The recommendation is neutral light at 4000K.
So let’s look for neutral light.
The brands are Philips and Foshan Lighting. Foshan Lighting doesn’t have many buyers; clicking to see the reviews, the 13W is about the same effect as other brands' 8W. The price is indeed low. 13W is around 9 yuan.
Philips' 11W is 12.3 yuan. I’ll buy one as a backup.
If the light breaks, buying at the supermarket is painful on the wallet.

Hardware Store#

Previously, the air switch broke, and I spent twice the price to buy one from the hardware store.
The same goes for faucets and similar items.
Some were particularly urgent.
The faucet broke. I can’t let the water flow continuously waiting for the delivery, right? Or if the main switch is off, that’s troublesome too.
No need to mention the angle valve. It feels like it needs to be replaced every few years. Only one brand lasts 50 years. RIFENG.
I wonder how it really is?
The price is about five times more expensive.
Ordinary ones are around 20, while this one is around 100. The ordinary ones last 5-7 years. This one lasts 50 years.
If it really can last 50 years, paying five times the price is worth it,
after all, spending time replacing it also has a cost.
Has anyone used it? Can you share?
I’ve also looked at quite a few reviews for LED lights.
I used to always use Philips. I found that in horizontal comparisons, Midea and Chint are also good. I’ve bought both.
I can’t praise Bull. I bought a socket a few years ago when there was no new national standard, and it was just copper wire soldered inside.
I bought a second-hand Belkin surge protector for 70.
But to be fair, the cheap ones are basically used for some weaker devices; computers and charging sockets are fine.
It’s just that the socket might not have protection; if a child sticks something in, they could get shocked, but other than that, it’s fine.

Oracle Free VPS#

Like IBM, I guess you have to send emails and various verifications to succeed. Or it just won’t work in mainland China.
Is the West isolating China? Is it unique to China?
I applied 4.5 times.
Site Unreachable recommended by the blogger; it seems he had no issues applying in Japan and has been using it for free for a year.
