Let's Talk#
Zhou Zhuo, the study abroad student.
World of Warcraft: Mists of Pandaria?
Or in Hearthstone?
Zhou Zhuo is a Pandaren, quite impressive.
However, in both World of Warcraft and Hearthstone, he is also studying abroad, needing to learn from the Western world. Indeed, the Western world has been ahead for the past few hundred years. China is also striving to catch up. China aims for a great rejuvenation. The U.S. wants to make it great again; many countries have similar slogans. First, they were strong before and want to continue being strong. It seems like a family heirloom, huh~
School Research Trip#
The school of the two kids organized a research trip to the Polar Ocean World on Friday.
Voluntary sign-up. The price is 218 per person.
Each class has about 10 kids not going.
I estimate I've been to the Polar Ocean World about ten times.
A few years ago, the price increased from the initial 60 to the current 200-400; I haven't checked, but it's several times more expensive now.
A few years ago, I saw the Feizhu annual card, which costs about 200-400 per person; I didn't check the order and just got an annual card for the whole family of four.
We've been there five or six times, during May Day and National Day, whenever we have time, but I still don't want to go; I just feel like since I've paid, I might as well go.
The subway is also available, making it much more convenient; once there, I still have to take 1-2 bus stops, or I can walk about a kilometer to reach it.
The lower prices before were due to the varying inclusions of different exhibits, such as no sea lion shows, no 56789d movies? I forgot how many d it was. They provide 3D dual-color glasses, the seats shake, and they spray water. Everything else is the same as the main exhibit. Beluga whale love. Dolphin and beluga whale shows; it seems that the pseudo-orca or orca is a better deal to see, only available in Shanghai. I've watched videos of orcas in San Diego. I've seen orcas hunting sea lions or seals in groups. Water jets catching birds. Smart as humans. If there were no humans, other creatures would probably evolve like humans. They would become enlightened.
This time, the kids took a bus arranged by the school, bringing motion sickness medicine and vomit bags.
If they don't go, these considerations are out the window. For long-distance travel, we generally consider subways, trains, and planes; my wife thinks safety comes first. We've never considered buses. Indeed, subways and trains at least won't cause motion sickness. It's also convenient to use the restroom, although some buses now have restrooms too.
The money not spent will be spent by my wife; today, we went to the amusement park, 50 per person, initially 99 per person; the amusement park is probably about to close. They are trying to recoup funds. Prices are getting lower and lower. All the electrified attractions are closed. I brought my drift board, sliding around, watching them pay to play. It lasted about 3-4 hours. I also felt quite tired. Haha.
